Description
This fiber-reinforced polyester filler is designed for strong and durable repairs. Formulated with glass fibers, it provides excellent mechanical strength, making it ideal for filling, rebuilding, and reinforcing areas with deep damage, holes, cracks, and structural imperfections. It adheres reliably to substrates such as polyester, GRP, metal, and steel, suitable for marine, automotive, industrial, and general repair applications.
Once cured, the filler provides a tough and resilient surface that resists shrinking and ensures long-lasting results. The fast-drying formulation enables quick repair turnaround, while its user-friendly consistency ensures easy application and shaping. For a smooth and refined finish, topcoat with a suitable putty before priming and painting.
This 3 kg set includes the necessary hardener for accurate mixing and optimal performance, suitable for both professional and DIY use.
Instructions
Mix the base and hardener components thoroughly before use. The mixing ratio is 100 parts base to 2-4 parts hardener by weight. Do not prepare more material than can be applied within the pot life of the mixture.
Application
- Apply with a putty knife.
- Sandable 60 minutes after application.
- Minimum recoating interval is 120 minutes.
Substrate Condition
- Steel: Dry and free from rust, oil, grease, contamination, old paint layers, and loose particles. Sand with grit paper P80 and degrease.
- Reinforced polyester: Dry and free from oil, grease, contamination, old paint layers, and loose particles. Sand with grit paper P120 and degrease.
Environmental Conditions
- Minimum application and curing temperature: 10°C.
- Substrate temperature should be at least 3°C above dew point.
